Football live, on TV or even watching people play madden..

But an evening minor league baseball game on a summer's night would be the most romantic date ever :-)

Rugby or extreme sports, as I cannot do or play them myself (apart from skateboarding), so I live vicariously.

I think football is my favorite to watch on TV. The thing about football on TV though is that the home experience is pretty good compared to live. You get different things out of it. At home, I can watch multiple games at once, and there's the "Red Zone" channel, etc. i think basketball is this way, too. Watching on TV provides an experience that, in some cases, I would prefer over being at the game.

On the other hand, I enjoy hockey on TV, but the live experience of hockey is far better than watching it on TV. I feel the same way about baseball. The only reason I watch them on TV, is lack of access to them live at that volume (no season tickets).
