Struggling to stay motivated- weights not shifting :(

Hi All,

I've been working hard to loose weight and managed to loose 5lbs in a month.

However 4 weeks on my weight remains the same, its really getting me down. I've had one bad day calorie wise which I'm aware of, however even that wasn't too bad. I have a fitbit so that combined with MFP I'm pretty sure calorie wise I'm spot on. I'm 194lbs, 5ft7 My current routine is:

Monday- 20 mins treadmill running, 10 mins cross trainer, squats, bicep curls etc
Tuesday- 30 mins running at lunchtime. then another 30 mins running after work and usually some kind of weight regime and cross trainer
Wednesday- 30 mins cross trainer, then 1k sprints.
Thursday, 15min jog and a few weights at lunchtime- 5k run after work (sometimes do circuits at lunch)
Friday- 20 mins treadmill running, 10 mins cross trainer, squats, bicep curls etc
Saturday- Day off although have horses, so go ride and generally walk about at the yard
Sunday Horses again, and try to get a little jog in :)

Any ideas on what I could do to mix it up would be appreciated :) I was doing 30 day shred, but found it boring and repetitive, so tend to take parts of it and do it in my own time. In terms of weights, I follow a plan from the personal trainer at my gym.

A couple things - I don't have any access to your diet, but you could be eating too much or too little for your busy lifestyle. Rest days help, a lot, with preventing injury and letting your muscles get rid of retained water (I just realized that you did mention one, though you stay active during it. It might need to be even more low key - but it should be fine). Sodium intake could be causing you to hold onto water - though over almost a month is questionable.

    Your scale could be broken...
