New Here! So wow i am not really sure if any one cares about my intro, but here i go....i have always been at least 10-20 over weight most of my life. then i went on the divorce diet, my weight dropped to 105 lbs, and yep being 50ish years old and 5'9" i was underweight. divorce was over, started working full time to survive and now i am over 70 lbs heavier. i have been trying to watch my calories and do exercise daily, but i haven't lost any weight. so i found this site, not sure if it will help, but at this point i will give anything a try, since i am about done with just about everything.

Welcome. I just started myself and I'm 43. It's working for me so far, you just have to be really honest about your calories. When I'm in doubt I try to estimate on the high side.
It's going slow, but it IS going0 -
goals, sry but lol, i have set goals, eat healthy (i would so love an in-n-out-burger right now, but a salad w/ a half of a grilled chicken beast, for lunch and the other half for dinner) and exercise (walking my dogs for 45 mins every day and doing some jillian youtube for 20 mins). i can stop eating, but i know that isn't healthy0

hi! I just joined this morning and already feel like Im in the right place. My only goal is to just make it through today with out screwing up. Tomorrow is a whole new problem. The last piece of cake is sitting on the counter taunting me...so my goal today is to ignore it.0

Just pick it up and put it in the bin if you feel you will cave. If I have left over desserts I send our friends home with them or out they go. Must say there usually isn't too much left over though :-)0
