With just being on MFP for 10 days now, I wasn't sure exactly what my level of activity should be based on. How many steps determines what level of activity I should put for my fitness goals? I found that if I walk more than 10k steps, I should be active, not lightly active as I had it. Just a neat site to help with the calories & weight loss. http://www.sanitarium.com.au/health-and-wellbeing/10000-steps-a-day

I wouldn't get too excited about that. You may find that you're upping your calories too much using those predictions. There's a big difference between steps you take around the house, at work or in general life and going for a brisk walk for an extended periods of time. Steps aren't an accurate measurement of effort.0
