FRIED salmon

HI guys, I am an asian who lives in asian. LOL.. I understand that we should avoid fried food. But then, there is a dish which I really love which is FRIED salmon. The chef does it very well as in, just nicely cooked not overcooked, and yes its oily but I can "feel" that is the salmon oil as it taste like it.

In that case, does it still considered as unhealthy ?? As I will be visiting them quite often.
Thank you!

It's not bad! Just log it and fit your other meals around it, for protein, fat, carbs, within your calorie goal.

If you can taste the oil, and the salmon's like a crispy texture, I'd guess there's probably 1 tablespoon or so of oil.

I don't think fried things are as bad as people make them seem. Deep-fried yes, but pan-fried? You can make pan-fried things very low-cal. I just put a teaspoon of olive oil in a non-stick pan, and cook. Gets crispy and tasty, but not fattening--a teaspoon of olive oil only has 40 calories in it. If you are getting it from a restaurant, obviously there will likely be more calories than that, but it still wouldn't hurt once in a while.
