Brown Rice and Arsenic?

Yipes. I just found an article about brown rice and how it usually has really high levels of arsenic. Anyone ever hear about this? I've always preferred white but I didn't know brown might actually have some dangers to them. I thought it was interesting that rinsing the rice might lower the arsenic levels. I suspect this is a problem with most rice products.

I thought I should also post the Consumer Reports article that goes into more detail. Arsenic is a natural byproduct, just that some are way above average.
