Heart Rate Monitor Calories or the ones from MFP?

I am really trying to not overestimate my exercise calories so I purchased a HRM and have been using it for several weeks the problem I am running into is this.

Today did a boxmania class HRM 61 minutes 560 calories

closest thing on MFP is Kickboxing but when I use that is say 980 calories for the 61 minutes.

That is over a 400 calorie difference and not sure the best one to use.

I am 47 yo female that is over 200 lbs

What I have been doing is adjusting the minutes on MFP to come close to my HRM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Stick with what your HRM is saying. It's way more accurate!

HRM for sure. It's the thing that knows how hard you actually worked.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer. That is what I have been doing...just want to make sure I was right. Some of the girls in that class are killing the calories and I have to keep reminding them I much older than them but I am there Keeping UP with their young bodies.
