Where to start? Let's try at the beginning...
Be forwarned, this post may be a little lengthy but I'll try and keep it short and sweet.
I've been on MFP on and off for a year. I'd start out really good and keep it up for awhile then get lazy and just completely stop for awhile... Of course, over the the last year I've had many obsticles that I've had to endure and overcome. It's definitely been a LONG and SLOW process to do just that but I'm still standing strong.
These last few months have been an eye opener for sure but I'm so glad that I've got a loving and supportive fiancee in my corner. Things have not been the easiest for the two of us but nonetheless we've gotten through the difficulites life has thrown us.
Now, I'm sure you're asking yourselves if I have such a loving and supportive partner ... why in the world am I on MFP? The answer is quite simple. I want to meet people with similar struggles to mine, and be an inspiration to someone who may need someone in their corner like my fiancee to be supportive and encourage them that they can accomplish anything they want to. All it can take is that one person even if it is just a friend.
Over the last few years, my weight has been a daily struggle. I'm currently at my heaviest... what that number is exactly- I'm not sure. As I stated before.... I've had my fair share of obsticles and I made a promise to myself recently that I want to make a lifestyle change for good. It's definitely been a long time coming but I think in the end it will be worth the wait... especially since it's taken me so long to find the gumption to get off my butt and do something about it. It's been one hell of a roller coaster ride thus far with everything that I've gone through the last 4-5 years & I couldn't be more excited to jump on this ride of weight loss and see where it takes me!
Let the countdown begin!
April 15th & I'm back with a vengence to kick this weight loss goal in the butt!
So for those that are reading this please feel free to add me as a friend here on MFP and I promise to be the best support/inspiration/friend you may need & that I can possibly be.
