I eat 3 meals a day and snack on fruit 2 xs per day. Mainly apples and bananas. I see with my regular meals i have been going over my sugar allowance.
Are the sugars in Fruit counterproductive to losing weight? I always thought that fruits were a healthy snack? Any ideas for an alternative that wont put me over my sugar limit??

no they aren't you're fine. the sugar is attached to fiber so it doesn't cause your insulin to spike the way fruit juice or soda do. enjoy your fruit.0

Eat whatever you want as long as you stay in budget.0

Eat as much fruit / veggies as you want.
If you tried to eat 20 bananas in a day (ie 2000 calories) you would likely be pretty full thru the day.
Likewise for 30 apples0 -
I don't know anyone who got fat by eating too much fruit.0

MFP's original sugar goals are silly low. Eat the fruit as part of a well balanced diet and its fine. Going over your sugars on "empty" foods, yes a problem, but fruit? Not so much.0
