Pain on the top part of the foot

So I am training for a 1/2 marathon and recently began experiencing pain on the top of the foot..somewhere between my big toe and the middle of the foot. I am posting this just to see if anyone else has experienced this type of discomfort. However, I am still going to my orthopedist on Friday just to make sure it's not a stress fracture or tendon/ligament issues.

I have that pain as well, but it's more the middle of my foot to my baby toe. It's been bugging me since August. I'm too stubborn to ask the doctor about it. I'm curious to know how your appointment turns out. Let me know please.

Any other runners out there with this type of pain?!?!

It could be tendonitis. Lots of tendons in your foot. I get it when I wear shoes that are too tight, which for me, that's most shoes.
