3500 cal Equals 1 pound, so you need to eat below that! like for instants 1200!

Just plug your desired weight loss goal into MFP. MFP will calculate a net calorie goal that will include a weight loss deficit. Just eat back exercise calories (obviously not necessary if you don't exercise) to net to the calorie goal and you will lose weight.

The road map is also good and I follow it, but can be very confusing to noobs and to those who don't like spending time doing research and learning the science behind it all.

Kinda sorta...but not exactly. You're missing a whole lot of in between information there. 3,500 calories +/- your maintenance level of calories equals 1 Lb lost or gained respectively. My maintenance is around 2,700 calories and I lose weight grossing 2,200 calories. 1,200 may or may not be necessary or even recommended for many.

Ur supposed to eat back the calories u burn with exercise???????? Cause I've been staying under my original daily goal but exercising anywhere between 500 and 700 calories 6 days a week. So therefore, a lot of times I am starving. But I was thinking I would lose weight faster but I average a 2 pound weight loss per week. So if I eat the calories I burn will those 2 pounds every week slow down????? Cause I would sooooooo love to eat an extra 500 calories per day LOL

Awesome! I ONLY use MFP for all my health calculations and what not so I guess it's not gonna kill me to eat a few extra calories with all the exercise I've been doing. If my weight loss slows down then I'll know why. Thanks for the help! That link totally answered my question! :)
