I'm absolutely disgusted by the price of tickets to Seaworld and Walt Disney World in Orlando. What a cash grab, it's ridiculously overpriced, and since when the f*** is a nine year old considered to be an adult?? This makes me so GRRRRRR  Even with a stupid coupon code the best I can get for 5 people is 299.95 for ONE day in Seaworld...uggggh, makes me sick. the only good thing, is that the CAD is at par, otherwise it would be soooo much worse

Sometimes you can find city passes that get you access to all the major amusements parks for a lower price than the gate. I know California has them.

We have them in Toronto as well, but so far I can't find nothing for Orlando..probably because they know suckers like me will pay! The hotel i'm staying in will give me free tickets to a park of my choice..but here's the catch, I have to sit through a 3-4 hour time share presentation, hmmmm...nope that's not gonna happen! They assured me no heavy selling tactics are used..i'm thinking ..and 4 hours of listening to you push the resort on me isn't heavy enough??

Wow that is crazy! The disneyland in Anaheim is like 90 dollars for ONE day or something crazy but if you live close with a zip code within a certain range you can get a year pass for like 140 or something so its waaay worth it and you make your money within 2 visits, maybe they have something like that?! ... and wow a 9 year old an adult? They aren't even in double digits! Does that make an 18 year old a senior citizen? haha

There are places you can get them cheaper. Keep looking online. There are also stops all along 95 (if you're driving) that sell them from the FL border til Orlando. And The only reason a 9 year old would have to pay the adult price is probably they are going to participate in the most activities (maybe more than the adults!) That does suck though. And disney world is bigger than disney land so that might have something to do with the price... i dunno.

OMG I just read that its FIVE people for one day for $300! Thats really good actually! I don't think you're going to get much cheaper...

we were just there in March and I was shocked at how expensive everything was - and how many people could afford it in this economy!
With your kids, be sure you get the park hopper option - and I would call disney and see if you could get a better price. If you stay onsite, you can opt into getting the tickets as part of a reasonable package. I would also suggest you pick a dining package, because the cost of food at the parks is totally unreasonable too.

As long as people keep going and paying the exorbitant prices, they are going to keep raising the prices at places like DisneyLINE.

    You're lucky it's 9!

Two of the local attractions to me (Torquay in Devon) class anyone over 92cm (IE my 2 year old daughter at 93cm) as an adult!

please pass on my digust in the fact that their pricing is outrageous and everyone I know goes to the one in Ohio because of this fact. The one stateside is about 70% cheaper.

You might be taking a risk and I would be interested in hearing from some Florida residents there thoughts on this.... but ....after, of course after, we bought our disney tickets I then saw in almost every major gift shop all kinds of signs where the places purchase and then sell the left over days from multi day passes at half the price.

Also, Sea World when we went a couple of years ago had a thing where if you went to customer service and had your ticket stamped you could re-enter for another day that week at no extra cost.

Cedar point is amazing, however it is NOT a great place for small children.

Small children meaning what age? I travel mostly with my three youngest ones( one has just turned a teen, but the other two are only 7 and 4) now because my teens are just too cool to be seen out and about with me. They actually turned down a free trip to Cuba, My mom took 5 of us for Christmas, how could they possibly have fun with momand god forbid grandma around? Craziness, I heard "free" and nothing else, i'm on that plane!! lol I'm always on the lookout for inexpensive places to take them. I looked into sherkston Shores as well, 1,200. per week for a trailer rental, seemed a little high as well.
How far is the drive to the Great wolf lodge in Ohio from TO?
