New to MFP

Hi everyone! I'm new to MFP and love it already! I'm on a journey to lose 20lbs. The first 10lbs I never lost after I had my son and the other 10lbs I put on during nursing school. Seriously...its gross and I can't believe I've let this continue for this long. Bad, Bad, Me :(

Until the last few years I have always been active in the fitness and figure competition scene. I know exactly what to do but for some reason I choose not to do it. My motivation flew away and has been laughing at me in the distance. I finally caught up to it and I'm determined not to let it leave this time.

I believe we become who we are around all the time. If people are positive, you will be positive. If people are healthy and active, you will be healthy and active. When I moved, I lost all my fitness friends and gave up my fitness career for nursing. No excuses, but I never realized how important having people as fit minded as myself was for me to keep my healthy lifestyle going. At least not until I wasn't around them anymore. Its easy when everyone is on the same page.

I am beginning JM Body Revolution on Thursday (if it arrives on time). I also will be doing cycle and boot camp classes. I will keep my food diary open for my friends if you want to swap nutrition info. I will try and keep you positive and motivated toward your goal. Feel free to add me if you are looking for some support also. LET'S DO THIS!
