Help with "net"..what does this mean?

Ok, for example this is what my chart reads right now:
Goal : 1200
Food - 733 - (what I ate today) I understand that
Excersize - 334 (calories I burned) I understand this
Calories remaining - 801 (I get this too!~
Net - 399 - I have no idea what this number means. What do I do with it as far as following it?

Net is what you're left with after subtracting what you burned from what you ate. Your net calories should be your calorie goal for the day, meaning you should eat back the calories you burned through exercise, as you were already at a deficit before exercise - not eating them back leaves you with a HUGE deficit, and that's not good for ya.0
