I like to eat liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.0
-
wait, Is the last one a no or a yes?
liver and onions is always a NO.
I had liver and onions AND sauteed brussel sprouts for dinner tonight
I'm doing it wrong.
:kicks rocks:
All you need to do is finish it off with some liquorish! lol0 -
Coconut. Especially finding it in my desserts.

No to beef liver, but I do enjoy chicken livers and various forms of pate and foie gras. Mm, a little chicken liver fried up with some butter, a squirt of lemon and some coarse salt, nice little bite while the chicken is roasting. The gizzards and heart are good cooked up the same way. Think of it like popcorn chicken, just with a bit of a stronger flavor, haha.
No, bad, go away foods:
- Bananas
- Bubblegum and bubblegum flavor anything
- Overcooked tuna and salmon - feels like, gritty or bark-like on my teeth
- Artificially sweetened anything. Like Nestea - gross. Flavored yogurts - bleh.
- Any sort of amphibian or amphibious egg. I learned this traveling through Central America. Just not my thing and no amount of lime, salt, or chili pepper can make it taste less like a turtle tank.0 -
Hell no on the liver and onions. The smell alone makes it a hell no. Also no on the spinach because of the texture. But I will eat spinach raw any time.I will admit I also enjoy cow tongue so...lol
Cow and pork tongue is magical. Its so tender and good. Real nice in a burrito or taco, or braised with vegetables. Now I am hungry.0 -
Nope.0 -
I will eat all of this, and the slimy spinach. Agree with liver and onions. Who eats organs meant to filter toxins!?!? Yaaaaacccckkkkkkkkkk!!
Me. Oops, guess I'm a hypocrite because I could never say no to duck paté, ommmm nommmm.
I just threw up a little in my mouth!!!0 -
Though I agree whole heartedly on no animal innards, pate that looks like catfood, brussell sprouts, soggy canned spinach.....I disagree on the black licorice...I LOVE black licorice and even get Luden's black licorice throat drops...YUM! I will up the ante with cooked cabbage...nasty stuff.... (all cabbage for me in fact...gross!) Cooked cabbage smells like rotten feet...raw cabbage...well, if it's chopped up rubber bands you wanted....seriously...gross!0

no.
NO.
NO!
NO to all but brussel sprouts.0 -
NOOOO.

I don't eat cucumbers, jellied cow cheeks or black licorice (stuff makes me more hyper). Anything else is a go. I love liver if it isn't overcooked and Brussel sprouts.
No

Spinach and poptarts are wonderful.
These, on the other hand, are disgusting:
coconuts
the worst, by far, is bananas
I don't feel strongly either way about banana's but you dissing coconuts is nearly enough to get you kicked from my list lady! I thought we were friends! SISTERS!
These are some of my favourite things. I don't usually eat pyjamas thought, that's just wrong.0 -
ummmm.....sounds yummy!
So far the black licorice is the only shame I agree with.
But I will add Lima beans -MEGA NO
and BEETS eeuuuhh!0 -

Cool! And if you swallowed it, I'm guessing it wasn't a 'no' food, amirite?0 -

That jellied pate isn't my fav. I'd kill for foie gras right now.

What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here.0
-
Mmm I like black licorice, and I'll have the spinach if it's as part of something else (some tomato and spinach frittata I make is yummy!)
Foods that I WILL shame:
Pickled onions
Olives
Beetroot
Any kind of Offal
Gherkins
Chickpeas
Mushrooms0 -
no.
NO.
NO!
Could happily eat all those, except the human. I don't eat humans.0 -
Avocados. YUCK! (I know I'm probably the only one on this...)0

MY food shaming (feel free to like the, we can do swapsies if I like the foods you shamed)
no
*puke*
this actually tastes nice but it gives me horrible stomach ache. See how evil it looks? That evil grin? it's saying "let's make neandermagnon's tummy hurt mwahahaaaaaa!"0 -
Pizza 'dough' made out of riced cauliflower
Vegan Tuna. Sorry but it just DOES NOT taste like the real thing. Not in the slightest in any way, shape or form
Rice Pudding. Looks like sick and has the same texture. Yuck
Bread and butter pudding

This thread is enough to make me throw up my protein shake that I barely managed to ingest in the first place.
I'm not a picky eater but... never, ever eat animal innards, or brussel sprouts. Gross.
:noway:0 -
Rice Pudding. Looks like sick and has the same texture. Yuck
that's rice pudding?? is this a Brit Eng/Am Eng thing? Because the rice pudding i had as a kid looked nothing whatsoever like that....!
It came out of a tin and was extremely sweet and delicious.... no doubt also extremely hard to fit into any macros (I mean it's made of rice, huge amounts of sugar and milk) so I'll give it a miss on that basis... but anyway that pic does not look like anything close to what I'd call rice pudding0 -
what's wrong with liver?
and brussels sprouts? brussels sprouts are totally delicious and they're my favourite vegetable. I even put them in curry. Chicken and brussels sprout vindaloo. Delicious.
You know what would be really nice... liver, brussels sprouts, spinach covered in a traditional British gravy. And I might even break my "potatoes are a waste of my carb allowance" rule and have some roast spuds in there too, which will be roasted along with onions, which I shall eat with everything else. And mint sauce on top. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm delicious
I won't add liquorish to it though. That can remain in the cupboard for snacking on between meals (don't worry I'd log it)0 -
yum, brussels0
-
Avocados. YUCK! (I know I'm probably the only one on this...)
NO!!!! I HATE THEM!!!0 -

That's not what my rice pudding looks like. Mine is delicious (but like you said, hard to fit into my macros).
For me it would have to be:
Green Olives
Red peppers
Coconut
Lima Beans
Fake pizza crusts (the broccoli one makes me shudder, at least the cauliflower one looks right)0 -
wait, Is the last one a no or a yes?
liver and onions is always a NO.
I cannot trust your other no's after you say no to liver and onions. Have you had Liver curry? Its freaking delicious!0 -
Liver and onions and black licorice are disgusting. Another thing I just cannot eat is olives, ewwww. I've tried to give olives a chance twice in my life. Once as a child, threw up from just the taste of it, and once as an adult, just the smell of them make me sick to my stomach.0
-
Everyone knows that you need to chop the liver and onions together, silly!
I would like to shame the following:
Bacon
Smoked fish
Stinky cheese
Bread pudding (you always look so yummy, yet always kinda suck)0
