Where are you from? I'm from NY, and even when I'm not in NYC, I find plenty of pizza places that sell by the slice...

California pizza kitchen does not sell by the slice and I went last week and for 2 people it was $70 bucks and very mediocre...

I'm always shocked when places sell pizza by the slice too lol.. I only know of two places one in Ventura that is apparently famous and celebs go to and one in Oxnard lol... im Sure you live farther south though lol

sbarro is expensive and taste like frozen pizza to me... i dont want to pay $5 for an uncooked frozen tasting slice of pizza.. I too have fond memories of sbarro as a teenager lol its disgusting and pricey now lol

Hell, some of the best pizza around my neck of the woods is at the gas station. Even when I lived in KC the gas station pizza closest to where I works was better than any of the chains.

    Not that that says much...

In my experience, pizza seems to be sold by the slice (in California anyway) only at malls and in college towns.

I know what I'm having tomorrow.

I'm from Jersey, pizza is like a religion. You can throw a rock and find someplace that sells it handmade and by the slice! Come visit!

If you are in NYC and eating at Sbarro, you need to sit down and examine your life choices
