I think it was last week sometime, my dad commented on my weight, he said "you look like you've lost a lot of weight" I said proudly "yes, i've lost 10lbs!" I wanted to ask him to guess how much I weighed, but was scared because I knew he would freak out. But I still asked him to guess. He said "I don't have a clue! I don't even know where you started from!" But I convinced him to guess anyways. First he said 160, then I laughed and said no, then he said "150?" haha I said.. "nope... I weigh..... (at this point there was no backing out!!) 210lbs!" His face dropped for a moment! Then he said "well at least you are doing something about it, you are built like me, we dont look what we weigh and when we get down to our healthy weights we are skinny like a stick!" hahahaha I don't want to be THAT skinng, I like my curves! But I was very happy to see that my dad didn't freak and that he is actually supporting me, and REALLY happy to know that I don't look my weight! I also convinced him to buy me a good pair of roller blades if I can lose 20 more pounds!! I hope to get them by the end of June!!

On a bit of a more depressing note, Since I was sick I kinda stopped exercising, and now my weight is SLOWLY VERY SLOWLY going back up.. like an ounce a day. How do I get back into the groove of things??

That's great! I too carry a lot more weight than anyone would ever guess! A curse but also a saving grace at times! Congrats on the loss so far, I'm sure with the insentive for roller blades you'll get there and then the rest will start falling off too!

Congrats girl!! That's awesome! I know what you mean about getting back into the grove of things after being sick...I always just tell myself that I'll exercise just for 10 mins until I get back to normal. Then, usually, when I start, I can just keep going. It's that initial "I gotta get moving" then after that..it's all good! Good luck!...and good job!
