Ok I need someone to help me figure out how many calories I need to eat per day for loss. If I eat 1200 which ic what MFP says I lose, but very slowly (we are talking over the past 3 weeks maybe .5 lb) I have upped that number based on every calculator out there and I either gain or stay the same. Hoping someone with similar stats has a solution, or anyone for that matter. My info is...
Height- 5 ft 3in
Weight- 116
Age 34
Activity- Desk job, ride stationary bike 40 minutes a day 5 days a week, try to walk around 1 mile (leisurely, with kids) every night that it is not raining. No real time for anything else, full time job, 3 kids, and live on a working farm.
I only have about 3-4 more pounds left to lose and it is frustrating!!!

unfortunately, if you only have 3-4 pounds to lose... slow progress is normal.
I don't lift (I know I should) but you might want to trade your cardio for strength training. Building muscle will boost your metabolism, which will help you slim down without decreasing your caloric intake further.0 -
If you only have 3-4 lbs to lose I hate to break it to you but it's gonna be SLOW. Set MFP to .5lbs/week, eat back your exercise calories and be patient. I suggest weighing in only ever 2 weeks at this point so you don't get discouraged by the numbers on the scale. Be patient, eat right, keep exercising and it will come off.0

You're pretty much at your ideal weight so maybe work on some strength training instead of trying to just lose weight. Doing the same exercise every day usually doesn't work either. Your body becomes very efficient at doing the same thing over and over. It's why calories burned at work aren't usually counted.
I'd suggest taking up some form of lifting every other day to build muscle and reshape your body instead of just trying to lose pounds.0 -
Get off the bike and start lifting weights, honestly with 3-4 lbs left to lose cardio is not what you should be doing at this point to lose it. I wouldn't focus on losing any weight with only 3-4 lbs and just focus on weight training and eating almost at maintenance calories to tone your body0

Ok, so here is my problem. We have a small "gym" where I work that is basically a room that has a few pieces of workout gear in it such as a stationary bike, a broken treadmill, and a few hand weights. What type of weight training would you recommend?0

Use the hand weights for sure, I am looking New Rules for Lifting for women. Its on amazon for about $12, maybe could even get it at your local library0 -
