So I am 5'7, female 38 years old and I need to lose 30lbs. I weight 190lbs now. MFP says 1325 calories per day to lose 1.5 lbs a week. I calculated my BMR which is 1572, and my TDEE which was 2216.........so how many calories do i need to eat?
I work out on the corsstrainer maybe 3-4 week for 10-20 min a time. I am so confused!!!

I like to use this calculator: http://www.fitwatch.com/qkcalc/caloriedeficitcalculator.php

Based on the information you provided, to just live, you need to eat 1932 calories. So to lose weight, you would eat a deficit of that (15 - 30%).

    15% deficit - 1642
    20% deficit - 1546
    25% deficit - 1449
    30% deficit - 1352

I would play around with the numbers a bit. Are you hungry when you stay at 1325? I would think if you ate around these numbers, you would start seeing results. Just my opinion.

MFP had me set at 1270. I tried to use the Roadmap, but it was very confusing to me. I found the website above and it was a lot easier for me to use. I now eat about 1560 calories and I have been still losing weight (and I am not hungry all the time).
