ADDED CALORIES IN YOUR DIARY?!?

I am having a hard time getting up to my calorie goal without going over on sugars. I like to eat a lot of veggies which is good but low in calorie- and a lot of fruit which is high in sugar.

On a few different diaries I have seen "added calories - 200"
I was curious if anyone can tell me what this is, thanks!

The quick add is feature you can use when the nutritional content is not known and you estimate how many calories you consumed.

For sugars, I would not worry about it one iota. Even if you are trying to avoid processed food you will go over from the sugars in fruit alone.

    Agreed.

Unless there is a medical reason to worry about sugar intake, don't even bother tracking it.
  • The reason I am tracking it is because I am doing p90x.
in the fat shredder program it is 50% protein 30% carbs and 20 % sugar...

Fixed macro ratios like that are ridiculous. And, uh, that's 0% of calories from fat so something is wrong there.

Hit your macros, get enough protein, get enough fat, and don't worry about carbs or sugar.

    sugar is carbs....

also, more healthy fats and you will meet your calorie goals. fat is essential. cook with some olive oil...have some nuts or nut butter...eat some avocado...get your heart healthy fats and achieve.
