I know that when I've taken pics of myself in the past, I always made sure that the lighting was decent and that it was taken from my 'good side' and I'd take 5 or 6 pics just to make sure I got one that I felt looked decent.

This weekend, my friend and co-worker decided SHE would take a pic of us. Normally, I don't go for that because I always look goofy or fat or crosseyed, etc. The pic she took looked amazing.... not because she spent forever getting it set-up 'just so' but because I've made progress... I've worked hard on being healthier and it shows!
