need help with macros

I need help setting my macros. I just went with the default one mfp gives you. I am 38/female. Mfp has me at 1200 cals. I am 5'5" and 154. I have lost 5 pounds since starting a month ago. I feel i am eating too many carbs though, but not sure. I do treadmill 4-6 days a week and do squats 4 days a week. I always eat back what i burn through exercise. Also i have to watch my sodium or else i retain a lot of fluid. Any recommendations? :flowerforyou:

I lost weight by mostly just watching my calories. But I felt a million times better once I started watching my macros, too. I love carbs and still pizza, pasta, potatoes, etc. but I had loads more energy, strength and endurance once I started getting a minimum of 100g of protein a day.0 -
I too have lost my weight simpy by counting calories. I try to eat more protein as a way of avoiding fat, but don't pay any more attention than that.0
