HELP! Motivation needed :(

Mine was a success story until February 2011. I had lost 32 kg in 1 year and 8 months, which is about a healthy 0.4 kg a week. I was motivated to go to the gym every morning and being at university, it often meant having to get up at 5 am to get a good hour of cardio before heading for the 9 am lectures. I was happy. I progressed from barely being able to walk for 30 mins continuously at 6 km/h to being able to jog 20 mins straight at 7.5 km/h. Life was good! I felt like a new person, a better and healthier person.

Then, it all started to spiral downwards. University work meant that I had less time to spare for exercising and cooking. Subway became and still is my kitchen. I pass by the gym everyday and reminisce the good old times, promising I`ll be back the next day but the next day has still not come. I have put on 14 kg since Feb 2011 and I cannot find the motivation I had years before. I want to lose weight. I know I have to for my own well-being. I simply cannot get myself to do it.

I'm going to be a little blunt and I hope you don't take this as me trying to be mean because that is not my intention at all. I'm just trying to help. Go back and read your post. Compare the 2 paragraphs. In the first one, you made it happen, even though you had to get up at 5:00am to get it done and still get to your lectures. You worked hard, felt better and healthier. In the 2nd paragraph, you're making excuses! You have to make do with the situation. Subway has healthy choices. . You can't find the time now because you're too busy, but you found the time before.

Say this to yourself a couple times and see if it doesn't make sense - "I will take complete responsibility for my health, my happiness, my success and my life, and will not blame others for my problems or predicaments."

I'm 55 years old, weighed in at a whopping 342 just 2 months ago. Talk about having a hard time getting motivated! Friend me if you would like, I would be more than happy to offer any encouragement I can.
