I'm having trouble staying on track

I find myself unable to lose weight and to stick to eating healthy. I have stayed to an exercise schedule decently well, but my poor diet habits are causing me to still gain weight.
Does anyone have any good suggestions for making the transition from a high calorie, mildly unhealthy diet, to a manageable weight loss diet? starting is what im having the most trouble with, and if i do start something it is much too hard and i never stick to it.
Thanks

I recommend doing one change at a time instead of trying to do it all at once. Like you said, if a new plan is too hard, it's unlikely to stick. So maybe the first week, you challenge yourself to eat at least 1 serving of fruit or vegetable with EVERY meal, including snacks. Then next week, you challenge yourself to drink all 8 cups of water every day. The week after that, challenge yourself to meet your calorie/macro goals consistently every day. Always keep doing the stuff from previous weeks, and before you know it, you'll have built up a whole arsenal of healthy habits. Good luck to you!0
