Hello! I joined MFP last Monday and I love it!! It's much easier to track food and exercise than I thought it would be. I'd tried a couple of other sites first and wasn't impressed with them.

I had gastric bypass surgery in December 2009 and haven't been tracking my food intake. All last year I had to write down everything I ate and after surgery I sort of rebelled! But now, I realized I have to track how much protein and sugar I take in each day. I have to get at least 60 grams of protein a day and the only way to be sure is to track it.

I've been going to the gym before work in the morning and that seems to be best. It doesn't give me a chance to talk myself out of going and the gym is 5 minutes from work which is great!

If anyone is interested in having a support buddy let me know!

Hello tawny7, I'm glad you came across MFP I don't think you will regret your decision to have joined.

Wow that's awesome you got yourself back on track & are taking things on your shoulders in order to stay well & probably get better. Yes! it certainly helps tracking stuff down in just about everything we do, certainly when starting something & possibly all throughout to maintain the accomplishment. I wish you the best of dedication on your fitness journey tawny7.
