How accurate is exercise tracker on here?

I have been on here for about a year but am now just working out and eating right seriously. I feel like when I track my workout, the calories burned seems excessive...or is it just me? Like I said, I'm new to this. I feel like 871 calories in 60 minutes of cardio is a bit much. I usually track it low (i.e. I ride a stationary bike at 16mph I say I ride 12mph) and do not factor in hills or anything. For example, my workout usually includes

Couch 2 5k (week 1) (20min)
Recumbent bike (avg 15.9 mph) (30min)
That rowing machine on the 7/10 resisiatce...thing haha (10 min)

Then some random bench presses with the bar (which I do not count into my burnt calories). I know your weight factors in but does this seem correct? On my C25K app is says I burnt 305 cals and on here it says the bike burns 425 and the rowing machine at 141.

Any bit helps! Feel free to add me as a friend or anything. Like I said, I'm new and doing this by myself. Any motivation will help!

I use a heart rate monitor and find that the numbers on here are very excessive.

I know that it's a general estimate based on what your height, weight, and gender are. For me personally, it was way over! I was logging in Insanity first week as 700+ per workout. I ended up getting a HR monitor, plugged in my stats, did the same workout and averaged mid to high 400s. So if you eat your exercise calories back, that could be a problem.

    Hope that helps.
