Hi, I am looking for advice on weight loss so checking out the various posts. I am in a weight loss contest which started on Jan 7th and will conclude April 22nd.
So far, I have lost 32 lbs in 10 weeks. I am on a 1200 calorie diet and currently do about 60 to 90 minutes of cardio ( eliiptical and or treadclimber) about 4 days a week. I am adding some strength training, lifting light weights and doing a few of the nautilus machines at the gym.
I want to really kick up the weight loss in the final 5 weeks and try to win this contest. I am currently in 5th place, out of 10 contestants.
If anyone has any advice on how I can do that please tell me how. I can't seem to get over losing 2 lbs a week. I realize this is a healthy weight loss, but I want to do the extreme, just for the next 5 weeks so I can have a chance!
Should I excercise more, eat less, try a different diet or what can I do? Some of the other contestants lose 5 or more a week, so I must be doing something wrong.
