I don't understand!

Hey, so I'm on a challenge in myfitnesspal to lose 5pds by the end of March. I was going good, sometimes I check my weight during the week to see where I am. So last week I was 188.7, and today I'm 190!? I've been exercising, eating properly. I'm hoping its muscle weight, because this been happening, and it making it hard to continue losing weight seeing the scale jump every now and then. Help? or please explain.
