Has anyone actually seen any weight lose due to taking Raspberry Ketones?

Supplements dont cause weight loss. If you eat at maintenance and take the pills you will still maintain your weight.

Although i haven't tried this particular one, i've tried a few dietry suppliments and fat burners and none of them have worked, all a waste of money unfortunately.

I eat raspberries and other berries fairly regularly and I've gone from obese to a healthy body fat percentage and I'm maintaining my goal weight without difficulty, and without tracking (I'm currently tracking as I'm doing a cut to lower my body fat percentage further, I'm focusing on bf% not weight though).

There must be some raspberry ketones in actual raspberries, right...? Surely?

Anyway, there are no magic pills or potions that work (if there were, drug companies would patent them and doctors the world over would be prescribing them and no-one would be obese any more)

I attribute my success, not to anything magical in the raspberries or any other berries (though I would point out that they're a great source of micronutrients), but to:

    1. a sensible, sustainable calorie deficit
    2. lifting heavy weights
    3. feeding my body properly, i.e. healthy food that supplies my body with all the nutritents it needs
    4. eating what I want in moderation, so long as the above is happening

And that's my advice to everyone :flowerforyou:

Never heard of snake oil like raspberry ketones being sold without recommending a very low calorie diet... and it's the very low calorie diet that results in weight loss on the scale, but like any other crash diet, most of the weight lost is not actually fat, it comes back and can damage your health and slow your metabolism in the process.

They MIGHT help, they might not. There ARE things that help, but there is always a cost. Spicy foods are believed to help... if you can take the punishment...
  • Hey ya
I got a free sachet of raspberry keytones and i've been taking them fora week
i have seen NO DIFFERENCE whatsoever

oen thing it HAS made me do though is make sure i drink a pint of water at least twice a day- i'd normally forget lol
and it does apparently help with your energy levels and i will admit i do feel more clear minded and more energy

but as for weightloss- for me anyway- it's a no.

Every diet supplement says "with proper diet and exercise." That tells you how effective they are. Which is to say, not at all.

Specifically due to them? No. Can they be part of an otherwise balance diet and healthy approach to eating that results in weight loss? Most definitely. But even then, the effect they have on weight loss vs the rest of the bigger picture will be negligible.

    exactly
every time i read that i think 'then what exactly are these tablets doing then?!"

unless its claiming to lose double weight
    but
should really pace yourself with weightloss anyway

Raspberry ketones again. I'll tell you what I have told every one so far, when I see these threads.
These 'aids' apparently work on increasing your metabolism after two weeks of taking the pills. So you take the pill and then two weeks later, the metabolism is supposedly raised.
However, rather than pay however much for something that doesn't work, and might not even help the metabolism anyway, your best bet is to exercise which boosts the metabolism immediately. Most exercise is free too.
Weight loss isn't magic and it's not easy for everyone. If there was a magic pill that made us all super slim, I think there'd be a hell of a lot less over weight people about...
