Lost motivation :-/

I have actively been using MFP since January 2. Up until this month, I have been doing a great job, and have lost 18 pounds (when I signed up for the website in November I was 3 pounds less than I was in January). Through a combination of laziness and a changing work schedule, I have not been going to the gym. I usually go around 2 in the afternoon, when my gym is empty, but when I go at a later time, 4, it is mobbed which no equipment free. My goal was to get to 160 by Easter, and I am 161.4 right now. I would love for some encouragement and new friends to help keep me motivated.

things change; life is like that but how we stay fit is directly related to how bad we want it. that's the cold hard truth. perhaps you felt like you hit your goal and then switched to maintenance mode but for some, this means loss of motivation because you no longer have something to work towards. set up some new goals for yourself; challenge yourself and so something out of the box like sign up for a race or obstacle race. that will get your butt in gear to continue to improve and train.
before i went back to work, i was working out at 930am every morning. with my new work schedule, my two workout options were workout first thing in the morning (5am) or after work (4pm). i knew that i wouldn't be able to muster up the energy when i got home (and besides, i'd rather spend that time with my family) so i chose the 5am time. it sucked at first to have to get up that early but it's what i knew i had to do so i just did it.
so what other things do you want to accomplish from a fitness/health perspective? new goals may get you motivated again.0 -
