I travel a lot for work and am interested to hear from others who also travel on what you do to discipline yourself while traveling. What do you eat? There are so many menu choices that half the time I don't know what to order, because you never know how the food has been prepared!

Do you have to eat out when you travel or can you make your own food? Most hotels have a mini fridge in the room and microwave or coffee maker. You can make oatmeal with the coffee maker if there is no microwave. For lunches or dinner you could make sandwiches from deli meats or pre-cooked chicken. You could add precooked chicken to salads, or wraps with some salad, etc. With a fridge in the room (if you stay in a hotel) you can have leftovers in the fridge for the next day. Have baby carrots, precut fruits for snacks.
If you have to eat out try to order fresh veggies as a side... asked for them steamed without anything on them. Get meats broiled or baked without sauce. Always get sauces and dressings on the side. Choose lean meats like chicken breast or fish.0
