Hi my name is Lyndsey and I'm new here. I have gained wieght over the past few months while in a deep depression and so many things going on in my life. I'm married with 2 boys.. I finally said enough is enough and want to do things the right way. I am in recovery for bulimia. SO far so good. I find the food tracker really helps keep thing under control. My thing is I can't find time to excerise. I work full time mon- fri.. with two kids in school, after work its homework, dinner, walking the dog, baths.. so on and so on and by the time I get a few moments to my self I have to give the attention to my marriage that it needs... I find myself dead tired and unmotived at the end of the day when I finally am able to even shower... I heard it was bad to work out at night, is this true? I tried waking up early, but I am not a morning person, and I wake up the kids with the workouts... When I run with the dog I don't feel like I get near the work out as with my tapes... I don't have much to loose.. my goal is 20 pounds, but to me if feels impossible.. Im so depressed with the way I look.. I am short and one pound gained lookes like 5 on my body.. I guess I'm here just to try to get to my goal with some helpful tips, and encouragement. ( I also have a desk job which I know is bad! I sit all day for my job) Any encouragement would be appreciated. Thank you all and God bless!:flowerforyou:

It is not bad to work out at night. Working out when you can fit it in is way better than doing nothing at all.
Feel free to add me. I'm short and a mom of two boys who also works outside the home at a desk job.0 -
I think I saw you were from Florida in another post. I am too!0

Working out in the evening is fine. The gym is actually packed in the evening hours, not in the morning. Not many people can get up in the wee hours and work out,. I know I can't..
Running is the best cardio (if a person can handle it physically) out there. I'm sure with the tapes you're doing some sort of strength training as well.0
