Protein vs Carb

I noticed daily my carbs are way under and my protein generally goes over
Because for lunch i might eat 8 ounces of chicken instead of a carb

Do you think that will be ok as I have heard carbs are not the best for you when losing weight but protein will help

    You are fine! MFP settings are based more on the US government guidelines, so the protein is a MINIMUM not a maximum.

    Yes depending upon your goals the mfp settings can be very "off". Too much protein is rarely a bad thing & as long as you focus on healthy carbs, you should be good. I view carbs a energy / fuel not as a negative thing - - it just helps that most carbs taste AH-mazing to me LOL

    thanks so much i just wanted to make sure this would not hurt my weight loss and was thinking having more protein instead of carbs should be a good thing
