Yesterday's NSV (Warning, food porn ahead!)

Yesterday was some catholic feast day, and my mother (who is very catholic) dropped these bad boys off at my house. They are each about the size of my entire hand, fingers included. 2 had boston cream, 2 had cannoli cream. The smell was enough to make me drool.
So you know what I did? Said no thanks, and gave the whole box to my brother....
One step at a time!

Congrats, I wish I could have done the same. On Fat Tuesday a few weeks ago, my mom dropped off a dozen Paczki from our church. I didn't give them away, I just had one a day and made sue that I logged it and hit the gym. A few years ago I would have down a six pack w/o thinking.0

Good job, but it's okay to treat yourself once in a while! Maybe have half of one next time?0

Awesome! Next time send one my way. I'd DEVOUR that!0
-
Awesome, I hope that if that happened to me I would have the will power to do the same.0
-
WTG! I would have eaten all four and cried about how fat I am.0

You have more willpower than I do! I would have tried one of each. T_T
Kudos!0 -

Great NSV...at a very minimum I would have secretly licked the cream from around the edges and pretend it never happened. Hooray for you!0

:drinker: :drinker: Yesterday was St Joseph's day, and locally they set up St Josephs tables ( it's origins are Italian and the idea was to offer food to the poor) and for a small donation, you can partake of some great food, and the pic of the pastry which I beleive is called Sfinge.
All that being said, GREAT NSV!! considering there is always another holiday around the corner with another sweet delicacy you did phenominal to not even take a taste  :happy:0 -
