NEVER FORGET THIS

I'm nearing my 2 yr. *anniversary* here on MFP- and been in maintenance mode for a little over a year...and have learned SO much about LIFE in general.

While many of us stumble and fall...and regret it....we often tell ourselves
Tomorrow is a new day, a new start....

and that is SO true.

However, I also know how I can let those other failures replay over and over and over again, and I'm thinking:
"I've already blown it....I might as well KEEP going....I'll never lose this anyhow..."

NEVER FORGET THIS, OKAY?.....................

We do not need to wait till the next morning to make a GOOD choice, a better one.

.......even IF the day ends in red (and it might based on the choices we made up till then)

the NEXT choice is YOURS....make it a good one....a healthier one....one that will ADD to your overall health, not take away from it.

STAY ON COURSE, my friends.

Success is repeating a series of good, healthy choices in a row.

Just don't give up if you've made a less than desirable one.
Make the next one count.

Thats brilliant advice, I try and think that even if I go a bit over on my calories for lunch etc I try and think about a healthy choice for dinner and say "right starting again"!

So many times in the past I have just given up half way through the day and then carried on that way for weeks and gaining the weight I've lost.

but you are right the next choice is always YOUR choice!!

I like this "We do not need to wait till the next morning to make a GOOD choice, a better one."!!! That is so true! I could take it a step further...why wait until Monday to start a new "diet" or exercise routine? Why wait until January 1 to start changing my life? The morning or Monday or 1/1 are not magically days/dates. It is all about moving forward.

Thank you so much for this perspective!

MFP really helped me keep up healthy eating even after I'd slipped because of the food tracking. Your advice is brilliant btw :)
