Tough Mudders...pre/post meals

For those of you that have run, will run, or are running a Tough Mudder, what is your go-to meal the night before, the morning of and post race? I'm training for my fourth one now and I was curious about my fellow mudder's choice of meals.

    I just got an invite to the one in Mansfield end of April... I would LOVE to do it, but I just dont think I can be ready in 1 month. Would love to hear about how the first 3 went for you.

    Whatever you normally eat before you train is probably what you should eat before your race. I like oatmeal and bananas myself. This is not the time to experiment with new foods or eat a bunch of crap if you aren't used to it! Afterwards I make sure I get both carbs and lots of protein for repair. I also like to get some pineapple in for the bromelain - it helps with inflammation. Good luck and have fun!
