So...I've taken the dive that I believe, at some point, most of us do. I've joined the Biggest Loser Contest for my office. I'll give ya a brief rundown of what we have going on.

Top 4 of 42 contestants get a pay out of the $10 buy-in :
* 1st - $200
* 2nd- $130
* 3rd - $60
* 4th - $30

Our first weigh in will be this Friday March 22nd with 3 week weigh-ins to follow (April 12th, May 3rd, May 24th , and final is June 14th. Contest is, of course, Body Weight % lost.

Now...I could try cheating a bit and coming in with led shoes on for the first weigh in, but I figure I should be honest, haha. Right now, my Calorie intake is set for 1830 a day, but my idea, for the course of this competition, is to try to get my net intake down to 1200-1500 per day and boosting my cardio each week. That should give me quite a bit of a boost to loosing quickly. I would love to lose 20% for this thing, but that's around 4.25 pounds a week and I think that is a bit unrealistic. Though it would be nice because that would put me under my inital goal for MFP, :laugh:

Does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions (honest and fair ideas that are not exceedingly unhealthy). I could win $200, but for some sick and twisted reason, I don't want to cheat at the contest.

For excercise, I currently do 4 days strength training and 2 days cardio, with one day rest.
