Not to torment myself or anything, but I really, really miss salty snacks like chips and cheetos.

What do you miss?

Chocolate... I miss chocolate. I completely stay away because I have a hard time only have a small portion, even thought the skinny cow ice cream really helps.

I would miss chips' but since I found that I can buy a little bag of baked ruffles at 140 calories; I can be successful only eating half a bag, I would definatly say chocolate!
  • I miss my ruffles and onion dip! I will treat myself some night but have so far stayed away from them. I love salty stuff so its finding something salty that isn't going to do me in to have now lol

Nothing cause I eat whatever I want it's all in the quality of those nutrients, timing, nutrient partioning, and type and quality of exercise. It's a good life!

I don't really miss anything. I eat what I want in moderation or make a healthier version of it :)

I haven't given up any specific foods, but I've cut back on how much and how often I have certain things.
  • French fries! I have a hard time stopping at one or two...!

    I so miss Church's Chicken...
I don't think we necessarily need to eliminate everything, 'cause this is a lifestyle change and really means moderation and portion control...but also, since changing to healthier foods my body can't tolerate all the grease any more....!!!! I get so sick now...

    Guess that's a good thing, but I so miss Church's Chicken...:ohwell:

McDonald's Quarter Pounder with cheese, fries and a REAL soda - not diet. I know I can still have this if I exercise my patooty off - I just don't want to work for it that hard...... :grumble:

I miss not having to stop at the "right" portion. I miss the days where I could sit on the couch with an entire bag of "anything" and not have to look at the calorie count.

Nothing really. I eat what I always ate, just less of it.

The answer to this question should be nothing, because if you eat with moderation in mind, there's nothing you can't have.

I don't miss the food because it is nasty, but I really miss the convinience of fast food. Not even having to get out of your car and getting a bag full of "food" means no dishes or prep time after a 10+ hour work day.

When I travel for work and still get to eat it sometimes but I try to avoid the really bad stuff. If there is anything worse than regular fast food it's trying to be healthy fast food. Blech! Creepy looking grilled chicken with wilted lettuce and soggy tomatos on white bread w/out and sauce to cover up the taste of the rest of it.

I don't really miss certain foods per say but I guess I miss the luxury of not obsessing over calories and not feeling guilty after eating almost anything. I miss being able to just casually pick where I want to go out to eat with some friends and not have it take 35 minutes and practically bring me to tears. I do not miss my chub though.

I do miss a bit of my sanity. *sigh*
