They say, it all goes downhill physically after 40 as that is the age it starts to get "really hard to lose" and to firm up.Especially true for women.
Sometimes I feel down when I think about the fact that I am getting older. I think I am going to lose my strength, my firm muscles and go to saggy and soft. However, countless people all the way up into their 90s have shown us this doesn't have to be the case. We don't have to go soft and grow weak. I thought it would be motivating and fun to post photos of people over the age of 42 who are fit and fabulous. Maybe some members here will post photos of themselves. If you have photos to share of others here for motivation please post. Check out the female competitor in the link below who is didn't even start lifting until she was 76 and who looked amazing at 82. There are several who are in their 70s. Unbelievable.
Somewhere I saw the oldest yoga instructor is in her 90s. I need to find her photos.
Here is a link I found which encourages me. It's a lot of "writing" but I just flip through the pages and look at the photos". I believe the forum I am posting is inactive now.

I don't know how to post my photo but here I am at 58. I am now 59 and lost 13 more pounds since that photo and I workout 6 days a week lifting, elliptical, treadmill and stair climbing. On the 7th day I take a 4-5 mile walk with my dh. I feel very healthy and fit although I do slip up at times.0 -
