For those who have reached their goal, did you change your targets or do you stay conservative and aim for slight weight loss?

I changed my targets. I upped my calories from 1400 to 1600 a day and it seems to be working. My weight fluctuates by a couple of lbs but nothing too major. I don't eat my exercise calories back though but I never really have!

My first goal was 139 pounds, but once I got that, I wanted to try for 132. I've only managed to get down to that weight twice, but haven't found the right calorie goal to maintain that. For now, I'm happy being anywhere between the two. :happy:0

Transition to maintenance SLOWLY. For example, change your weight loss goal from 1.0 lbs. per week to 0.5 lbs. per week. Follow the new calorie limit for at least 2-3 weeks. Then change your setting to "maintain weight." Follow that limit for 3 weeks before making further adjustments. You will learn what your true maintenance calories are by trial and error.0

I added only 200 cals a day and most of the time dont reach it this works for me , I think doing it slowly works best0

I have been maintaining for about 6 months. This is MUCH harder than losing as you can have some things whereas with losing I was more disciplined. I weigh myself every morning, put exercise and food into MFP. I follow this 90% of time and look forward to a party, going out or whatever. At those events, I don't pig out, just have a glass of wine and maybe one thing extra. I actually went to a wedding out of town this weekend, ate somethings but exercised and did NOT gain!!!!
I know that every now and then, I put a little weight (2-3 lbs) back on and immediately take it off.0
