Hi I have just started my weightloss journey and have been walking for 20 mins each day.
Today it's pouring rain so did it on the treadmill, so my question is this:
if I put it in runtastic and or mfp as treadmill it comes up as 239 cal burned but if I put it as plain walking 2mph its 110. The machine says 5 calories. I am eating my exercise calories back and this is quite a large difference for me to eat back any ideas what is causing it and which one i should use? Thanks

The machine says 5 calories for 20 minutes??
If the machine doesn't have an option to enter your info (height, weight, gender), and based on the fact that it gave you only 5 cals for 20 minutes of walking, I'd go with the MFP number.0 -
Thanks Amy
I went with the walking 110 of mfp not the mfp treadmill of 239. I was pretty sure that actual treadmill of 5 was wrong (or rather hoping it was lol).
