For a much higher calorie burn and a better workout, increase your resistance! I cant believe how many people i see with a resistance of only 1-3. Make your time in the gym count! Push it!

    No kidding!
The other day at the gym the girl next to me (on a bike) was at level 1 and going SO SLOW. Like actually slower than both me and the girl beside her and we were both at level 11...

I actually feel like I'm wasting time if I go anything under level 8. So instead of doing the interval mode on the machine (which goes below 8) I just alternate the level every few minutes anywhere between 8 and 13. such a better workout!

btw, I love the matching outfits you and your daughter got going on!

Doing intervals at high resistance helps, too.

Yes! I hate to see people not getting the most out of their workout- esp when they are going really fast like they are really trying but their resistance is so low they are barely breaking a sweat.

A good test is that you should be full on sweating at the 12 minute mark. If you are not in a full sweat at 12 mins, you need to bump up the resistance.

    and thanks:)

Or just get a jump rope. Way better burn in a shorter period of time. In fact most of those machines you see at gyms are very inefficient when it comes to giving you a good cardio workout compared to other things you could be doing.
