Hi. I know today might not have gone the way you planned. Or maybe it did, but you're still frustrated because you're not seeing the results you want to. Or maybe, just maybe, you have had the desired results but you still don't feel like you're good enough. But don't give up on yourself. Do me a favor, ok? In my meditation class today a girl spoke up and asked us all to place our hands on the side of our necks and feel our pulse. So go ahead and do that. Close your eyes for a few moments and just feel your heartbeat. Feel your heart pumping blood and realize how amazing it is that you are alive. Of all the possible genetic combinations, and against all the odds of probability, somehow, you exist. Sometimes we get distracted and trapped by our fast paced lifestyles and we lose ourselves in the desire to become someone else, so I just want to remind you that you are good enough just by being yourself. Maybe it sounds cheesy, but I think everyone should take at least a few minutes every day to be thankful for their body and everything it does for them. We're not here to try to become someone else. We're here because we deserve to be healthy, and we deserve to give something back to our body when it has done so much for us.

You won't be here forever, but you are here right now in this moment and your heart is pumping blood. It may not seem like much, but if you just think about it, it is truly an amazing thing to be alive and to perceive the world and have your own thoughts. You exist, so be grateful, and if you feel ready, be happy :)
