I consider myself to be a beginning bodybuilder (I've only been lifting for several months but I'm very serious about it). Wondering if there were any similar types on here. Lemme know, I'd like to have someone's brain to pick from time to time >.<

absolutely. I am a competitive bodybuilder and use mfp routinely. I'm not on the boards that often here but if need a brain to i'm glad. I've learned a lot as a 30 year old I've gained a lot of knowledge over the last 10 years being very into it.

Jefit.com and nerdfitness.com are great references for beginning lifters. The latter gives a lot of body weight workouts you can do from home, as well as advice on how to workout, how to warm up, how to stretch, etc. The former is a great database of exercises and routines that you can download so that youdon't have to guess at what exercies you should be doing (what order, how many reps, how many sets, what rest time, etc.). Good luck.

I lift heavy things and love it! Not a pro, not an expert, but I am strong...getting stronger...not bodybuilding, just trying to shift some fat at the moment.
