I just concoct dinners, and today I made my own variation on fried rice, very simple
-1 brown egg, scrambled
1 package (200 g) pre-cooked rice
1/4 cup mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup white onion, chopped
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
3 cloves minced garlic
1 slice of bacon
3 tbs water
2-3 tbs soy sauce
1/2 tbs olive oil
1/2 tbs hot red pepper oil
1tbs oyster sauce
1/4tsp white pepper powder

Prep- Toss your veggies in the 1/2tbs of red pepper oil
-scramble one egg
-have a side plate handy.

1. Cook the bacon in a thin, non stick pan or a Wok. (i didnt have a wok, it still turned out fine)
2. Remove the bacon and set on a side plate. In that same bacon grease, add your scrambled egg.(we already counted this fat, so no harm done =)
3. Cook the egg softly, remove from heat on a side plate.
4. Add all of your chopped vegetables to the heated pan.
5. Add your water to those veggies, as well as your soy sauce.
6. Turn up the heat to high (you will be stirring often) and add oyster sauce and olive oil
7. Add your pre-cooked rice, continuing to stir ( Your rice/pan will start to get really sticky so keep stirring)
8. Add your bacon and egg, still stirring
9. add white pepper
10. cook 1 more minute, remove from heat

All in all, it took like 8 minutes to cook, from the sauteeing of the veggies to the removal of heat...depends on your tastes, tho, and how soft you want your vegetables. Since the rice is cooked, you are really just heating it and coating it in your "veggie/bacon juices" lol. It was pretty good, tho =) made 2 healthy sized servings.
