Hi
I'm just wondering if anybody could suggest some good workouts for beginners. I have a 5kg Kettlebell and 2 2kg dumbells. I have so far been doing a lot of walking and some stationary bike. I am very unfit (56% body fat!) and no upper body strength at all. I seriously look ridiculous even trying to do a push up but I want to get better. I tried to do the 30 Day Shred but I think I need to ease in a little bit. If there is anybody who could help I'd be really appreciative. I can't afford a gym membership at the moment so am trying to do something at home.

Here's some bodyweight and/or light dumbbell exercises (along with links to pictures/videos). Try doing any of the three lower body exercises and any four of the upper body exercises; 3 sets of 6 to 10 reps for each exercise.

For other exercise ideas, you can bookmark this site: http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/ and sort by muscle group and equipment available (including kettlebell).
I hope this of some help. With a good diet, you should start noticing changes after 8 or 10 thirty minute or longer sessions. So take measurements and pictures now, so you can compare in six to eight weeks.
