Bikini Shape Calculator...

This thing is busted.
I was 42-36.5-47 last time I measured and it says I'm an hourglass.
I WISH I was an hourglass but I think my small bust and small cup size (38C) mean I'm a pear.0 -
Well that was rude.
Apparently I'm "Top Heavy"
Big bust, broad shoulders, and a narrow waist and hip.
Sounds like a nice shape to me.
It claims that I'm an hourglass. I'm actually more of a pear but that was entertaining.0 -
Top-Heavy. Yep, even with 93 lbs lost I'm still top-heavy. damn. tiny waist, narrow hips, and giant boobs.
Puhhlease, you're gorgeous in your picture, and well proportioned.0 -

thank you.0 -
Bwahahaha!!!! I'm TOP HEAVY. I never did consider myself as having big boobies, and my thunder thighs tend to disagree with the statement that "you should show off your slimmer hips while controlling your bust..."0
-
that was fun, thanks!0
-
Hourglass...0
-
(Honestly I think most women look best in a string bikini.)
I think this way too, unless the woman is wearing the wrong size which many tend to do. A size 14 flatters size 14 ladies, size 8 does not. :noway:0 -
It says hourglass for me and I always thought I was pear shaped!0
-
An hourglass, apparently.0
-
Judging from all the surprised pear people, self included, I think this shape calculator is set to "hourglass" and "boobs."0
-
These classifications make little sense. I put in Jaime Koeppe's 35-24-40 stats and it comes up as pear-shaped though I'd say she's more an hourglass.0

Put your own numbers in and see what comes out. *nod*0 -
Yep, hourglass0
-
Hourglass, really? Okay, I guess I can't complain, but I would've sworn I was pear shaped...0
-
I just put my numbers in and it said "Please, for the love off all things holy, don't wear a bikini."
Who and I to argue?0 -
My measurements now are a pear shape, but with wt training and wt loss, I will no doubt about it be an hour glass. I am NOT small on top. I just have ginourmous hips right now.0
-
Pear shaped. Go figure. I've been losing boob but my butt/thighs still look chunky to me :P No swim suit hides big thighs!!0

yes.
but many calculators are these days.
It's like vanity sized pants!
they think women are far more flattered to be told they are hourglasses when they most definitely are not.
"pear" has a negative connotation to some, though some of the most beautiful women in the world are pears! In fact many of the most famous are pears.0 -

I hate to break it to you, but true hourglasses gain weight and lose weight evenly.
that's part of what defines them as HOURGLASSES.
just having boobs does not automatically make a woman an hourglass, there are very specific definitions to being one.0 -
Hourglass. I always thought of myself as more of a rectangle at 34, 27.5, 370
-
For now I am a rectangle0
-
Totally off topic, but Tigress Pat, I love your polka dot dress.0

I'm an hourglass, too? hmmm... wiki says we're not all hourglasses. I think the calculator's off.A study of the shapes of over 6,000 women, carried out by researchers at the North Carolina State University circa 2005, found that 46% were banana (rectangular), just over 20% pear, just under 14% apple, and 8% hourglass.[18] Another study has found "that the average woman's waistline had expanded by six inches since the 1950s" and that today's[when?] women are taller and have bigger busts and hips than those of the 1950s.[18]

nods
there's a concrete definition for "hourglass" and very few women (even those whom are curvy and might look "hourglass" actually meet the criteria.
however, in the new spirit of vanity sizing and lets make everyone feel better about themselves certain types like "pear" and "apple" are no longer used as much (as they now have negative connotation -not sure why as pears are freaking gorgeous and ultra feminine-) and just about everyone is now an "hourglass" according to most calculators.0 -
