Water retention after surgery

I had laproscopic gallbladder removal surgery on Monday. I was so upset to weigh myself on Tuesday to see that I had gained 10lbs. Just wondering how long I should expect till the water retention subsides, and I can actually look forward to losing weight again. Thank you

    I imagine you were hooked up to an IV for awhile? I bet you are puffy as can be! Give yourself a week or so and I bet you're back to normal. Good luck recuperating.
