Hey guys! I'm looking into getting a HRM for when I workout but I don't have a lot of money to spend on it. What have you guys found to be the best bang for your buck? I'm trying not to spend more than $50 to $60 but it's looking tough if I want to get a decent one...
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

It all depends on what you plan to do with it.
What features are you looking to have?
I'm trying to get an accurate calorie burn reading when I'm on the treadmill, elliptical, etc. since I'm hearing that those machines aren't very accurate.
I also want to monitor my HR so I know what percent of my maximum HR I'm at.
I guess that's it but that means it needs to keep track of my stats during a workout.0 -
I have an FT4 and it's tracks calories burn really well. I got my son a GSI Super Quality All-In-One Waterproof Heart Rate Monitor from Amazon for $19.99 because I didn't know if he would stick to working out, he did but doesn't really want another one because that one works just fine. It seems to track calories burned just as good as my FT4 when I tested it. So if you want something that just works and isn't fancy it will do the trick, and it's not costly.
FT4 -- $66.27

Pyle GSI $19.99

I have the FT4 and I love it! I got it on amazon and I would say it was worth the money. I have had it for about 6 months now, and I have not had any problems with it. I think its a great bang for your buck!0

I'd recommend the Polar FT4 for the features you're looking for.0

I did a lot of research on HRM before Christmas, and I am very happy with my choice to get a Polar FT4. It is a pretty basic model, but it does everything I need - track my HR and let me know what zone I am in. I found the best deal on Amazon.com. Good luck!0

Thanks a bunch everyone!0

I'm not sure what the best is because I've only used one brand but I love it. I have a Garmin FR70. It doesn't have GPS but I carry my cell when out on the road for safety so I just use mapmyrun or bike for tracking my routes.0
