30 min + 30 min workout or 60 minutes?

This might sound like a stupid question, but I don't know really much about fitness and such, but yeah I just wondered if there is any difference in how many calories are burned if I work out first 30 minutes, take a break and then work out 30 more minutes or if I work out 60 minutes straight. Sometimes when I have early classes I work out 30 minutes in the morning and 30 when I get home, but usually I do the whole 60 minutes straight. You get it, I think. Is there any difference?

There definitely can be a difference in calorie burn by doing it all at once. Your heart rate will be sustained at a higher level for much longer if you do it all in one workout, meaning more calories burned. However, there won't be a big difference between the two. If you're working out, and eating right, you will see a change. The matter of actually getting out and working out, no matter for how long, is definitely a step in the right direction!0
